BYD Sealion 7 Arrives in the Philippines, Bringing Performance Back to Electric SUVs

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has officially launched the BYD Sealion 7, its newest all-electric performance SUV for the Philippine market.

Unveiled at the Glorietta Activity Center, the Sealion 7 brings the performance-focused engineering of the acclaimed BYD Seal EV sedan into a more versatile and family-friendly crossover layout. It is designed for drivers who want the excitement of a high-powered electric vehicle while keeping the comfort, space, and practicality expected from a modern SUV.

The all-electric SUV features an All-Wheel Drive drivetrain powered by dual electric motors. It delivers a combined output of 530 PS, or 523 hp, and 690 Nm of torque. This allows the Sealion 7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

The Sealion 7 is available in four exterior colors: Shark Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Deep Sea Blue. All variants are paired with black interiors.

BYD Tech Tour Opens at Glorietta

The launch of the Sealion 7 also kicks off the BYD Tech Tour at the Glorietta Activity Center from May 28 to May 31.
