Huawei Nova 16S Series Opens Philippine Preorders from ₱29,999

The lineup offers 5G connectivity and a 7,000mAh battery, while the Pro model puts camera hardware and AI editing tools at the center of its pitch.

The HUAWEI nova 16s Series opens for preorder in the Philippines on October 30, 2026, with promotional prices starting at ₱29,999.

The standard nova 16s and higher-priced nova 16s Pro both come in 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations. HUAWEI is positioning the series around mobile photography, AI-assisted editing and battery capacity.

Philippine preorder prices

• Model: HUAWEI nova 16s Pro, 12GB + 256GB; Announced regular price: ₱44,999; Promotional preorder price: ₱39,999

Pro cameras focus on portraits and color

The nova 16s Pro features a 200MP RYYB main camera, front and rear True-to-Color camera technology, and a 50MP Ultra Portrait front camera.

HUAWEI says its color-sensing technology is designed to improve skin-tone and scene reproduction under changing lighting. These are manufacturer claims rather than findings from an independent camera test.

The Pro also offers a 0.8x–5x selfie zoom range and AI tools for selecting facial expressions, moving subjects within an image and reducing reflections. HUAWEI’s Philippine product page confirms the Pro’s 200MP camera, True-to-Color system and AI editing features.

Battery, charging and display

The series announcement lists 5G connectivity, a 7,000mAh battery and 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo.

For the Pro, display specifications include a 6.84-inch screen, an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate and advertised peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits. Its body measures 7.1mm thick, weighs approximately 218g and carries an IP65 rating.

The Pro comes in Isle Blue, Breathing Crystal and Starry Black. The standard model also includes a Sky White option.

Early offers and selfie challenge

HUAWEI lists platform-specific early-bird vouchers, including a ₱5,500 HUAWEI Online Store voucher through November 6. Buyers should check checkout conditions rather than assume vouchers stack with the announced promotional prices.

A separate #TrueColorsSelfieChallenge runs until November 12, 2026. The company says 50 eligible entries with the highest views will each receive a nova 16s Pro, subject to the complete contest mechanics.

Preorders are available through HUAWEI’s online store and participating e-commerce platforms.
