The top-rated buy now, pay later (BNPL) and consumer finance app, Billease, has joined forces with award-winning payment gateway provider, iPay88, to provide merchants with flexible payment options for their customers. Together they aim to revolutionize the BNPL market for enterprises across the country.

BillEase is a versatile finance app that provides a range of financial services such as personal loans, e-wallet top-ups, prepaid load, gaming credits, bills payment, and a unique shop now, pay later service. This innovative feature allows customers to avail of installment plans even without a debit or credit card, making BillEase the go-to app for financial services.

iPay88, a leading regional payment gateway provider, has been providing innovative payment solutions to successful businesses in the e-commerce and m-commerce space since 2012. With its extensive reach across the Philippines, iPay88 is the perfect partner to bring BillEase’s BNPL services to more merchants in the Philippines.

The partnership will bring a new level of convenience to both consumers and merchants. Online and offline retailers will now be able to offer shoppers three installment options at checkout, including Pay Later in 10 or 20 days, Pay in 4 installments for small-to-medium ticket purchases, and Pay Monthly over three, six, nine, or 12 months for big purchases with interest rates between 0% or 3.49 percent – the cheapest rate in the country.

Since its launch in 2017, BillEase has over 3,000+ merchant partners in various sectors, including electronics, home needs, health and wellness, education, food, fashion, and others. It is offered by nine major payment gateways across the region, making it the most accessible BNPL app in the Philippines.

Georg Steiger, CEO and Co-Founder of BillEase, said, “This partnership highlights our shared values of providing light and easy payment options for retailers and their customers. With iPay88, BillEase can offer inclusive options for retailers, especially enterprises, to help them grow and thrive even more.”

iPay88 CEO and Co-Founder Lim Kok Hing, added, “Today’s announcement marks a significant milestone for iPay88 in the Philippines. This affirms our commitment to bringing innovative payment solutions to enable greater convenience and ease of payment for both consumers and merchants.”

Made possible with BillEase’s easy-to-implement integration stack, enterprises can expect to grow their businesses and offer customers a convenient and hassle-free shopping experience through this partnership.

Powered by Singapore-based technology company OpenFabric, the integration stack enabled iPay88 to quickly and easily integrate BillEase’s payment methods. While the usual integration takes months to complete, the Open Fabric integration allows merchant technical teams to deploy a BNPL solution in just 1-3 days, hence saving about 95% of developer time.

“We are proud to accelerate the growth of payment acceptance via our simple and quick integrations. With merchants saving developer time, they can focus on building trust with their customers who will have peace of mind knowing that they are using secure payment services,” Soma Ramasamy, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of OpenFabric said.
