Beyond Launches in the Philippines with Google Cloud Engineering Expertise

The global technology company is establishing a local presence to give Philippine organizations direct access to specialist engineering and Google-first innovation.

Global Google Cloud engineering company Beyond has officially entered the Philippine market, expanding access to specialist cloud engineering for organizations building and scaling their digital operations.

The company marked its Philippine launch with an event at Blackbird in Nielson Tower, Makati City. Its local presence will support businesses looking for technical expertise in Google Cloud, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital commerce.

More than 75% of Beyond’s team members work as hands-on technical specialists. The company designs and builds technology for recognized global brands while helping organizations strengthen their cloud capabilities.

Investing in Philippine engineering talent

Beyond Chief Executive Officer Alan Paton said the company sees the Philippines as an important part of its long-term growth.

“The Philippines is home to exceptional engineering talent, and we see a real opportunity to build here for the long term,” Paton said.

He added that Beyond aims to give Philippine organizations direct access to engineering expertise and Google-first thinking that can help them operate and compete more effectively.

The Philippine operations form part of Beyond’s Asia-Pacific delivery organization, led by Geoff Newell, Delivery Centre Director for APAC.

Beyond plans to grow its local team and regional client base in the coming months. Its expansion also creates opportunities for Filipino technology professionals to contribute to cloud projects serving both Philippine and international organizations.

Built around Google Cloud engineering

Beyond traces its roots to the 2023 merger of Manchester-founded Google Cloud partner CTS and Appsbroker, which created Qodea.

Following several acquisitions that expanded its engineering, cybersecurity, and digital product capabilities, the business rebranded as Beyond.

The company now operates internationally, with offices in the Philippines, Romania, and Argentina. Its services cover artificial intelligence, security, and commerce, with Google Cloud engineering at the center of its work.

Around 150 guests attended the Philippine launch, including representatives from government, the diplomatic community, the technology industry, academe, and the media.

The gathering introduced Beyond’s capabilities while connecting the company with organizations and institutions that play a role in the country’s growing technology ecosystem.
