Ayala Malls Cinemas will exclusively screen Mike Flanagan’s “The Life of Chuck,” based on Stephen King’s acclaimed novella, starting August 20. Sneak previews will be held on August 16 at select Ayala Malls locations including Manila Bay, Glorietta, TriNoma, Bonifacio High Street, U.P. Town Center, Capitol Central, Centrio, Abreeza, Solenad and Harbor Point.
The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mark Hamill, Jacob Tremblay and Matthew Lillard. It tells the story of Charles “Chuck” Krantz, exploring love, loss and the beauty of human life in a three-part narrative told backwards.
Director Mike Flanagan, known for “Doctor Sleep” and “The Haunting of Hill House,” calls this his most joyful work, aiming to deliver a life-affirming message. The movie recently won the People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
