AirAsia Philippines reminds guests to stay informed amidst inclement weather
With heavy rains triggering road closures and flooding across various areas, AirAsia Philippines reminds guests to stay informed amidst inclement weather by regularly checking flight updates via airasia.com/flightstatus.
AirAsia Communications and Corporate Affairs Head, First Officer Steve Dailisan, issued an advisory urging passengers to allot extra travel time. “We advise our guests to be at the airport earlier than usual—at least 3 hours before domestic and 4 hours before international flights—and be guided by road closures and flooded areas as advised by their respective LGUs. At AirAsia, safety will always come first. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as there may be some flight adjustments due to necessary safety measures,” he noted.
Weather experts have predicted that the inclement conditions affecting Manila and other parts of the country may continue throughout the week, potentially causing further disruptions.
To support travelers, especially those affected by severe flooding, AirAsia encourages the use of the “AskBo” feature on the MOVE app, where guests can connect with live chat agents for 24/7 assistance.
