As passenger traffic is expected to rise following the Holy Week break, AirAsia Philippines is reminding guests to review and comply with its baggage policy to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.

Travelers returning from both domestic and international destinations are encouraged to take note of cabin and checked baggage limits to avoid inconvenience at the airport.
Each guest can bring up to seven (7) kilograms of carry-on baggage free of charge, consisting of one cabin bag (maximum dimensions: 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm) and one small personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag (40 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm).
Guests may purchase checked baggage (check-in luggage) allowance from 20 kilograms up to 60 kilograms, depending on their travel needs. There is no limit to the number of bags, as long as the total weight does not exceed the purchased allowance, but each bag must not exceed 32 kilograms for safety reasons. Only one checked baggage allowance may be purchased per guest, per flight.
AirAsia Philippines strongly encourages guests to pre-purchase additional baggage allowance via the airline’s official website or the AirAsia MOVE App, as rates are significantly lower compared to excess baggage fees charged at the airport.

Guests traveling with family and loved ones are also encouraged to take advantage of the “Seat Together” option to ensure they can sit beside each other onboard and no risk of separation, making the journey more comfortable and meaningful during the holiday return period.
With the anticipated increase in passenger volume, AirAsia Philippines calls on all guests to plan ahead, arrive at the airport at least two (2) hours before departure for domestic flights while three (3) hours for international flights. Passengers are encouraged to review travel requirements for a hassle-free journey.
