Zyxel Networks Empowers Non-Profits with Technology Donations

Zyxel Networks technology donations drive efficiency and digital growth for 120 non-profits across Taiwan

Zyxel Networks continues to power social change through technology. For the fourth year, the company partnered with the Zyxel Foundation to donate networking equipment and cloud solutions to non-profit organizations across Taiwan.

More than 120 organizations have benefited, receiving over 1,100 devices in four years. This effort bridges the digital divide and helps non-profits strengthen their operations.

This year’s milestone includes the addition of Zyxel’s Nebula Cloud Management Professional Pack licenses. The upgrade enables organizations to manage their networks remotely, improving stability and efficiency.

Zyxel Networks also expanded its volunteer programs. Employees helped the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation’s Jianshi branch in Hsinchu upgrade its learning center for children in remote areas. Volunteers also assisted the Ruth Society for Disability Services in Taoyuan by improving campus connectivity, which enhanced special education and smart device use.

Community leaders expressed gratitude. Shih-Chun Chen of Boyo Social Welfare Foundation said the upgrade made network management easier and boosted efficiency. Chiu Chia-Huai of Ruth Society noted that better internet speeds now support teaching and administrative tasks, helping disadvantaged students gain equal digital opportunities.

The initiative now extends beyond social welfare. Zyxel has partnered with environmental organizations such as the Environmental Quality Protection Foundation and Trust in Nature Foundation. This marks a move toward sustainability education and ecological awareness.

According to Denise Lin, Zyxel Group’s Chief Sustainability Officer, the company aims to use technology as a tool for connection and inclusion. She said Zyxel remains committed to helping non-profits modernize their systems and deliver better services.
