Global Dominion, Bayan Family of Foundations Partner to Expand Financial Education for Filipino Entrepreneurs

The partnership will bring entrepreneurship training and practical finance content to Global Dominion’s Ka-partner Academy.

Global Dominion and the Bayan Family of Foundations (BFF) signed a partnership on September 22, 2026, to make financial and business education more accessible to Filipino entrepreneurs.

The two organizations will develop content for Ka-partner Academy, Global Dominion’s business development platform for borrowers, partners, and the wider micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) community. The program has recently expanded its use of social media to reach entrepreneurs and people preparing to start a business.

The partnership brings together Global Dominion’s financing experience and BFF’s work in entrepreneurship training, education, and community development. It reflects a shared view that access to capital works best when business owners also have the knowledge and support to use it well.

“We finance businesses, while BFF builds entrepreneurs. The Ka-partner Academy is where our missions converge,” said Global Dominion president and CEO Samuel Cariño. “The next generation of Filipino business owners will learn that a ka-partner does not just give you a loan. A ka-partner helps you grow.”

BFF works through four component foundations. Bayan Academy leads training and curriculum development; Bayan Innovation Group handles research and planning; Bayan SEARCH focuses on community development; and Bayan EDGE supports impact investing and resource mobilization. Through Ka-partner Academy, BFF will bring its training experience to Global Dominion’s borrowers and the broader MSME community.

“Democratizing financial education cannot be done in just one way or through one format,” said BFF president and CEO Carlo Sagun. He said the effort must be collaborative and reach entrepreneurs in ways that can make a meaningful difference to their businesses and lives.

Global Dominion is a non-bank financing institution established in 2003. According to the company, it has grown to more than 170 branches and nearly 2,000 employees nationwide. Its offerings include real estate and car financing, doctors’ loans, and secured business loans.
