Moneyhero’S Moneymax Partners with Eastwest to Expand Personal Loan Access in the Philippines

Moneymax, the Philippines platform of MoneyHero Limited (NASDAQ: MNY), today announced a partnership with East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) to expand access to personal loan products for Filipino consumers.

The collaboration establishes an acquisition partnership focused on personal loans, enabling consumers to discover EastWest personal loan offerings through Moneymax’s platform. Consumers may begin their journey on Moneymax, complete a lead form, and seamlessly continue through a streamlined digital application experience, with application details securely transmitted to EastWest for processing.

The partnership comes amid sustained growth in consumer lending in the Philippines. According to data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), consumer loans, which include credit cards and general-purpose loans, expanded by 21.4% year-on-year in December 2025, outpacing growth in business lending. The data underscores the continued relevance of consumer lending as Filipino borrowers seek accessible and flexible financing solutions.

By adding EastWest to its platform, Moneymax continues to broaden the range of established lending institutions available for consumers to compare, while supporting EastWest’s digital customer acquisition strategy.

Shravan Thakur, Chief Commercial Officer of MoneyHero Group, said: “This partnership strengthens our personal loan offering in the Philippines and reinforces Moneymax’s role as a comparison platform for consumers evaluating borrowing options. By working with EastWest, we are able to connect more Filipinos with established lenders through a clear and efficient application journey.”

“EastWest has always focused on building banking solutions that are practical and designed around the everyday financial needs of Filipinos,” said EastWest Chief Executive Officer Jerry N. Go. “Our partnership with Moneymax allows us to bring this approach to customers at the point where they are actively exploring financing options, connecting them to personal loan solutions that are supported by the service strength of a full‑service universal bank.”

“Through this collaboration, we are making it easier for borrowers to access financing with clarity and confidence, while delivering a seamless experience that reflects EastWest’s commitment to customer care and long‑term financial well‑being,” he added.

MoneyHero Group operates in the Philippines primarily through its platform, Moneymax, where it continues to expand strategic partnerships with leading financial institutions across credit cards, personal loans, and digital insurance products. Partners include BPI, RCBC, the Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP), and InsureMO, underscoring Moneymax’s growing role in the local financial services landscape.
