Coworth Park Debuts New Stable Suites and Cottages by Martin Hulbert Design

Dorchester Collection’s country estate, Coworth Park, unveils an elegant transformation of its Stable Rooms, Stable Suites and Cottages. With interiors by celebrated British designer Martin Hulbert and his team, the new guestrooms are inspired by the rhythms of the English countryside, the beauty of the surrounding wildflower meadows and the timeless spirit of countryside living.

A major new addition is the introduction of private terraces and landscaped gardens, offering guests a seamless connection to the outdoors. Designed as private countryside sanctuaries, these spaces invite moments of quiet pause, from al fresco breakfasts beneath the trees to pre-dinner drinks surrounded by nature. The cottage gardens have been thoughtfully planted with a delicate mix of wild and cultivated woodland species, with hidden layers of flowers that emerge through the seasons. Far more than a refresh, the newly redesigned rooms, suites and cottages usher in a bold new design direction for Coworth Park, where craftsmanship, nature and contemporary British luxury come together to create something truly immersive. Every space has been thoughtfully designed to deepen guests’ connection to the landscape, creating interiors that feel both restorative and richly layered with character.

New colour palettes draw inspiration from the changing seasons, from the soft yellows of spring blooms to rich autumnal tones, while natural materials, layered textures and artisan craftsmanship bring depth and warmth throughout. Coworth Park is a place to breathe deeply, and these designs embrace a slower, more intentional approach, prioritising craftsmanship, authenticity and enduring quality.

Throughout the interiors, traditional techniques sit alongside contemporary artisan touches. Hulbert’s meticulous attention to detail is reflected in bespoke hand-drawn wall textiles inspired by British landscapes and meadow flowers, block printed onto Irish linen cloth to create a warmth synonymous with the English countryside. Leather upholstery references Coworth Park’s equestrian heritage, while bespoke resin tables preserve dried flowers collected from the meadow, grounding each room within the estate itself.

Martin Hulbert British Designer says, “The brief was clear: Build on the legacy of Coworth Park’s past, while shaping it for the future. More than 15 years ago we transformed a derelict site and abandoned house into a world of calm sophistication. Now with the client’s trust, we have refreshed these interiors, retaining the essence of its timeless blend where town and country blur with contemporary ease.”

The artwork collection has also been newly curated around four distinctive themes: Equestrian, Rhythms of the Landscape, Seasonal Cycles, and Hedgerows and Meadows. Expressed across a range of mediums from semi-impressionistic paintings to abstract sculpture, the collection further immerses guests in the story and spirit of Coworth Park.

The newly transformed Stable Rooms, Stable Suites and Cottages offer a refined countryside escape in the heart of the English countryside, just 45minutes from London, and will be available to book from June 2026.
