Zcmc Marks 36 Years of Free Bible Education with Nationwide Anniversary Gatherings

As the Philippines commemorated Independence Day, Zion Christian Mission Center highlighted another expression of freedom: helping people deepen their faith through free Bible education.

Zion Christian Mission Center, also known as ZCMC, celebrated its 36th Founding Anniversary with gatherings held in 27 locations nationwide.

Nearly 2,000 pastors, instructors, students, alumni, volunteers, and guests joined the celebration, with major activities held in Pasig City, Cavite, Pampanga, Cebu, and Davao.

The anniversary carried the theme “One Faith, One Light, We Rise and Shine,” reflecting the organization’s focus on biblical learning, unity, and service.

A Celebration of Faith and Learning

The event served as a thanksgiving for ZCMC’s 36 years of offering free and accessible Bible education.

Organizers said the anniversary theme points to the light found in God’s Word and the role of believers in sharing faith, hope, and purpose with others.

Across the country, activities highlighted the center’s growth and continued outreach to learners from different communities and backgrounds.

Freedom Through Faith

The celebration also drew a connection between the Philippines’ Independence Day commemoration and the biblical understanding of freedom.

ZCMC Philippines President Abigail Saguid said freedom is one of humanity’s most cherished blessings, but true freedom is not simply the ability to do anything one wants.

“True freedom comes from knowing God’s truth and living according to His purpose,” Saguid said.

She added that Bible education and evangelism help people move away from spiritual confusion and toward hope, truth, and salvation as taught in Scripture.

Unity Across Communities

Participants reflected on how studying the Bible has strengthened their faith and deepened their understanding of God’s promises.

Organizers said the celebration was not only a look back at ZCMC’s milestones but also a renewal of its commitment to share God’s Word with more people.

The event also emphasized unity among believers, showing how people from different backgrounds can come together through shared faith and a common mission.

Growing Access to Bible Education

Founded in 1990, ZCMC has grown into an international theological institution offering systematic Bible study programs.

Its courses are available through onsite, online, and self-paced learning formats, making Bible education accessible to learners with different schedules and locations.

Central to its teachings is the study of the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation, which the institution presents as key to understanding God’s plan and promises.

Entering a New Year of Service

As ZCMC enters its 37th year, the institution says it remains committed to expanding access to Bible education for learners in the Philippines and around the world.
