Samsung Electronics Philippines is bringing together devices, security tools, teacher training, and school recognition programs to help Filipino schools strengthen digital learning.

Launched on June 18, 2026, Samsung for Education is designed as an end-to-end education ecosystem for schools at different stages of digital transformation.

The program supports the Philippines’ continuing push to expand ICT adoption in education by equipping teachers, students, and school leaders with tools that can make digital learning more secure, accessible, and effective.

A Digital Learning Ecosystem for Schools

Samsung for Education combines three key areas: education-ready devices, teacher development, and school recognition.

The program is built to help schools move from early digital adoption to deeper technology integration in everyday teaching and learning.

Galaxy Tab devices, supported by the S Pen, Samsung Notes, and Galaxy AI, provide teachers and students with tools for classroom activities, lesson planning, collaboration, and productivity.

Samsung Knox is also embedded across devices to support secure and well-managed learning environments. This helps protect data, strengthen device management, and provide confidence to educators, students, and parents.

Teacher Training at the Center

Samsung said technology becomes more meaningful when teachers are trained and supported in using it.

Through the Samsung Learning Hub, educators can access professional development modules that range from foundational digital teaching skills to more advanced classroom strategies.

The program also includes certificates that recognize teacher progress, curated learning content from education partners, and a professional development framework for both teachers and school leaders.

Samsung’s teacher recognition pathway includes two levels: Samsung Certified Educator for teachers building digital teaching capability, and Samsung Certified Innovator for educators ready to lead digital innovation beyond their own classrooms.

Recognizing Schools That Build Digital Readiness

Samsung for Education also introduces a school recognition pathway for institutions that show progress in digital learning.

Samsung School recognizes schools building strong foundations for technology adoption, including the use of Samsung tablets in everyday teaching and learning.

Samsung Digital Lighthouse School recognizes schools with deeper technology integration, certified educators, documented outcomes, secure device management through Samsung Knox, and a culture of sharing digital learning practices with the wider school community.

The recognition pathway gives schools a clear structure for growth while encouraging long-term transformation instead of one-time device deployment.

Supporting the Philippines’ Education Vision

Carl Nordenberg, Vice President and Regional Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia and Oceania, said Samsung believes technology should empower people.

In education, he said this means creating an ecosystem where teachers feel supported, schools are digitally ready, and students are engaged to learn with confidence.

The program is positioned to help schools build more inclusive and secure learning environments where Filipino students can thrive.

Technology With Purpose in the Classroom

Samsung for Education reflects a practical view of digital learning: devices alone are not enough.

For technology to create lasting impact, schools need proper deployment, security, teacher training, leadership support, and measurable progress.

By combining these elements into one program, Samsung aims to help Philippine schools strengthen classroom excellence while preparing learners for a more digital future.
