Acclaimed Filipino indie rock band One Click Straight has officially signed a global management agreement with The Rest Is Noise PH (TRIN), a move that signals a significant milestone in the group’s growing international career.
The partnership will see The Rest Is Noise oversee the band’s international bookings and management activities outside the Philippines, including artist development, touring, brand partnerships, synchronization and licensing opportunities, and other commercial ventures aimed at expanding the band’s global reach. The collaboration will be undertaken alongside the band’s longtime manager, Eezh Arcangel.
The announcement comes as One Click Straight prepares for a series of international festival appearances, including performances at Playtime Festival in Mongolia and another major music festival in Vietnam scheduled for July 2026.
Building Filipino Music’s Global Presence
According to The Rest Is Noise co-founder MC Galang, the move reflects the organization’s commitment to helping Filipino artists break into international markets through long-term artist development and strategic management.
After years of facilitating music export initiatives and connecting Filipino artists with international audiences and industry professionals, TRIN saw an opportunity to provide deeper support for artists ready to compete on the global stage.
Galang described One Click Straight as an “export-ready” act due to its strong catalog, compelling live performances, and ability to connect with audiences beyond the Philippines.
The band’s growing international momentum has already resulted in appearances at prominent music events including AXEAN Festival in Bali, Music Lane Festival in Japan, Bangkok Music City in Thailand, Baybeats Festival in Singapore, and All Of The Noise in Manila.
Excited for the Next Chapter
For drummer and songwriter Tim Marquez, the opportunity to bring the band’s music to international audiences remains both exciting and humbling.
He shared that it is rewarding to see music created in a personal space resonate with listeners across different countries and cultures, adding that Filipino music deserves a place on the global stage.
Meanwhile, vocalist and guitarist Sam Marquez expressed gratitude for the guidance and support provided by The Rest Is Noise throughout the band’s international journey.
“Their passion mirrors ours, and that’s the kind of collaboration we want with us on this journey,” Sam said.
A Decade of Independent Success
Over the past decade, One Click Straight has become one of the Philippines’ most respected independent music acts. The band is composed of brothers Sam Marquez, Toffer Marquez, and Tim Marquez, together with longtime collaborator Joel Cartera, also known as Jpapi.
The group has independently released two full-length albums and two EPs, generating more than 20 million streams on Spotify while building a loyal fanbase both locally and internationally.
Their latest global management partnership represents another step forward in bringing Filipino music to wider audiences across Asia and beyond.
Why It Matters
The partnership highlights the growing international recognition of Filipino independent music. As more Filipino artists gain opportunities abroad, collaborations like this help strengthen the country’s presence in the global music industry while creating new opportunities for cultural exchange and artistic growth.
