Samsung’s global education program Solve for Tomorrow is returning to the Philippines this 2025, calling on young innovators to use science and technology for community-driven solutions. Now in its 15th year globally and 3rd year in the Philippines, the competition aims to empower STEM students to design impactful ideas that address real-world issues.

With the support of the Department of Education, the program is open to Grades 8 to 10 students from all government-managed Science High Schools nationwide. Over PHP 2 million worth of Samsung devices and cash prizes are at stake for the winning schools, teams, and teacher-advisers.

How to Join Solve for Tomorrow 2025

  • Teams must include up to four students and one teacher-adviser.
  • Entries should focus on one of three themes:
    • Environmental Sustainability through Technology
    • Social Change through Tech and Sport
    • Solving Community Problems with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Proposals must be submitted in PDF format, either 7 pages in Word or 5 slides in PowerPoint.
  • Deadline for submissions: October 26, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

Top 10 entries will be announced on November 11, 2025. These teams will receive mentoring from Samsung before presenting their refined projects on December 3, 2025. Winners will be revealed on December 9, 2025.
