Zyxel Networks has rolled out a Pay as You Go (PAYG) billing option on its subscription management platform, Circle. The new model gives managed service providers (MSPs) and small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) more flexibility by charging only for actual usage.
Circle is Zyxel’s centralized platform for managing license purchases, renewals, and subscriptions. With PAYG, partners can scale services per project or per client, without being locked into annual commitments or upfront capital costs. A detailed monthly report ensures clear visibility into costs, while billing adjusts based on real consumption.
Activating PAYG requires just a few clicks inside Circle. MSPs and SMBs can apply it to select organizations, shift devices across accounts, and stop or resume billing as needed. This offers greater operational control and time savings compared to manual renewals.
For MSPs and larger enterprises, PAYG smooths the shift from CapEx to OpEx, supports scalable network-as-a-service offerings, and improves cash flow management. Combined with Circle’s monthly and annual billing, partners can choose the model that best fits their growth strategy.
Gary Chen, SEA regional head at Zyxel Networks, said, “We are launching PAYG in direct response to partner feedback. License management is now as simple and flexible as our technology. This removes barriers and gives partners the tools and payment options they need to grow on their terms.”
The PAYG billing model is available globally through Circle for Nebula cloud-managed devices.
