Filipino Voters Shape Future VinFast Models in PiliPinas EV Design Contest
Filipinos continue to embrace electric mobility as VinFast announced the winners of its PiliPinas EV Design Voting Contest. The program rewarded 303 participants with prizes totaling 5.1 million pesos. The contest showed how design, technology and user choice now shape the way Filipinos want to drive.

More than 20,000 people joined the two week voting period. Participants voted on ten design options for each of the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9. These designs offered fresh interior and exterior looks created by VinFast’s global creative team. The strong turnout showed how Filipinos want practical and stylish EVs that match their daily needs.
VinFast awarded three grand prizes worth 150,000 pesos each to participants who predicted the most favored design and total vote count. The company also handed out 20 prizes ranging from 40,000 to 80,000 pesos to those who made close predictions across the five model lines. Another 130 participants who submitted design ideas received gifts worth 15,000 pesos each. VinFast also drew 150 lucky winners who earned 10,000 pesos each. The number of prizes reflected the company’s goal to involve more Filipinos in shaping the next wave of electric vehicles.
Voting took place both online and through thirty physical ballot boxes placed across the country. VinFast published all fifty designs so voters could choose independently. This encouraged wider participation from people in large cities and smaller islands.
Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, said the company wants Filipinos to help design the vehicles that will soon be seen on local roads. His message emphasized user choice and the Filipino spirit of resilience and progress.
VinFast continues to expand its presence in the country with showrooms, test drives and new partnerships. The company believes community involvement will guide the country toward a greener and smarter mobility future.
