These learning packages which include decodable and leveled reader books in Tagalog, Filipino, and English, as well as listening texts and big books, are essential learning materials for Kinder to Grade 3 learners. The Schools Division of General Santos City receive ABC+’s support for the Brigada Eskwela at Changco Elementary School. Other stakeholders who provided materials for school maintenance and repair were also present. USAID ABC+ is represented by Mr. Luisito Gelmo, Regional Manager.

In addition, DepEd Region V – Bicol received 1,183 EGRMs and 8 laptops as part of USAID’s technical support to schools.

USAID continues to support DepEd Philippines in strengthening early grade education by ensuring that schools are prepared for upcoming classes and that Filipino learners have access to quality resources as they return to school.
