Tanduay Brings ‘Rum from the Islas’ to Whisky Live Manila on October 16–17

Tanduay is bringing Filipino-inspired cocktails, its international rum portfolio and a new event showcase to Whisky Live Manila 2026, happening on October 16–17 at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City.

At booth 19, the brand’s “Rum From the Islas” experience will feature bartenders preparing cocktails from scratch, an interactive claw machine and a selection of rums that reflect its approach to Filipino rum-making.

“We hope that after introducing our international brand and products, we create meaningful connections with our spirit enthusiasts and encourage them to see rum from a different perspective. We want to leave them with a memorable experience that they will never forget,” said Luis Lico, Management Specialist at Tanduay.

Filipino Flavors Behind the Bar

Visitors can watch Tanduay’s bartenders prepare drinks inspired by Filipino flavors while demonstrating their cocktail-making techniques.

The booth will carry the brand’s Rum From the Islas theme, with a claw machine offering visitors a chance to win prizes. Tanduay will also offer special promotions and gifts at the Whisky Live store.

The appearance continues the brand’s participation in the event, where it has previously introduced its Filipino rums to spirits enthusiasts, experts and industry professionals.

The lineup gives visitors an opportunity to learn about different products within the brand’s range alongside its cocktail presentations.

A First Event Showcase for Sauternes Cask-Finished Rum

This year’s event will also mark the first Whisky Live Manila showcase of Tanduay Reserve Rum Finished in Sauternes Cask.

According to Lico, the product reflects Tanduay’s efforts to explore different approaches to crafting rum and develop distinct experiences for spirits enthusiasts.

“Through Whisky Live Manila, we have the opportunity to showcase our passion to our visitors. We want to show our enthusiasts, professionals, and curious audiences a rum backed by over 172 years of heritage while experiencing the innovation that continues to shape Tanduay Rum,” he said.
