Sophos Advisory Services cybersecurity suite helps organizations identify and fix vulnerabilities before attacks happen
Sophos has launched Sophos Advisory Services, a suite of cybersecurity solutions that help organizations identify and fix weaknesses before attackers exploit them.
The new services include External and Internal Penetration Testing, Wireless Network Penetration Testing, and Web Application Security Assessment. Each is built to expose security gaps and improve defenses across business operations.
Sophos Advisory Services draw on the latest threat intelligence from Sophos X-Ops, combining expert insights from global incident response, threat hunting, and cybersecurity research. The services target the growing issue of vulnerabilities, which remain the top entry point for ransomware attacks. According to the Sophos State of Ransomware 2025 report, 65 percent of organizations worldwide faced ransomware due to known or unknown security gaps.
Jake Dorval, senior director of Sophos Advisory Services, said the goal is to give companies a proactive advantage. “We help customers find and fix weaknesses before attackers can exploit them. Our experts help organizations strengthen resilience, meet compliance, and build lasting trust,” Dorval said.
The services are delivered by a global team of certified security professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, military, and advanced cybersecurity research. Many joined Sophos through its recent acquisition of Secureworks.
Beyond these services, Sophos continues to expand its cybersecurity portfolio. Its Emergency Incident Response, another major service, provides rapid threat neutralization for organizations under active attack.
Sophos plans to roll out additional Advisory Services in the coming months as part of its effort to help businesses stay secure in an evolving threat landscape.
