Fintech company Skyro launched its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative at Camias Resettlement Elementary School in Porac, Pampanga. With the mission to empower the Aeta youth, Skyro equips Aeta students with tools to learn and thrive by distributing over 550 school kits filled with essentials for education and well-being.
More than 30 Skyro volunteers from different departments gathered to pack and distribute backpacks, writing and coloring materials, white shirts, slippers, snacks, and Skyro-branded water flasks. Hygiene kits were also prepared, including hand soap and alcohol to ensure the students’ safety and health.
“Education is still the best way to improve the future of children,” shared Skyro co-founder and co-CEO Nasim Aliev, who emphasized the power of improving basic education in transforming lives.
The team brought energy and joy to the event by playing interactive games like Bring Me, Hep Hep Hooray, and Newspaper Dance with students from grades 1 to 6. After the fun, hearty meals were served to the children.
Skyro equips Aeta students with tools to learn and thrive, embodying the company’s vision of not only providing financial assistance but also championing sustainable community growth. Skyro executives including Head of POS Business Lowen Medina and Head of Communications Cristina Loquinario were also present during the impactful outreach.
With this successful CSR launch, Skyro is committed to investing more in causes that build a better future for Filipinos—one school bag, one smile at a time.
