Security Bank Foundation (SBFI) has been recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) for its continued support to public education, including receiving the Benefactor’s Award from DepEd Region III (Central Luzon).

The Foundation was also honored with Regional Educational Partner Awards from DepEd Region IV-A (CALABARZON), alongside Division Partner Awards from Batangas City, Laguna Province, Zamboanga City, and Ozamiz City. These recognitions were conferred during DepEd’s stakeholder appreciation events held nationwide.

“Education is the greatest equalizer in life,” said Security Bank Foundation Chairman Rafael Simpao Jr. “These recognitions affirm the importance of collaboration in addressing the needs of our public schools.”

SBFI is expected to receive additional recognitions from DepEd Tarlac and from the DepEd Central Office in the coming months.

“We remain committed to working closely with DepEd and our partners to help create better learning spaces and opportunities for Filipino students,” Mr. Simpao added.

Through sustained partnerships with DepEd and other stakeholders, Security Bank Foundation continues to help address the country’s classroom shortage—ensuring that more Filipino students can learn and thrive in safe, supportive environments.Learn more about Security Bank Foundation’s education initiatives and how you can support by visiting https://www.securitybank.com/foundation/
