Rol3Ert Releases “with You” with Johnson Ahead of Debut Album and Manila Appearance

The Japanese singer-songwriter’s collaboration with the Malaysian artist arrives before “meet me in my head,” due October 21.

Japanese singer-songwriter Rol3ert has released “With you,” featuring Malaysian singer-songwriter and producer Johnson, ahead of his debut full-length album, “meet me in my head,” arriving October 21, 2026.

The release also comes before Rol3ert’s first promotional trip to Indonesia and the Philippines. His schedule includes a Jakarta showcase on October 28 and a confirmed live appearance in Manila on October 31, with further Manila details still to be announced.

According to the press release, “With you” marks Rol3ert’s first recorded collaboration with a Southeast Asian artist.

Two voices explore the weight of memory

“With you” places Rol3ert and Johnson in a duet built around shared longing. The song explores how memories can offer comfort while also making it difficult to move forward.

Its smooth, urban sound carries that tension through the contrasting qualities of the singers’ voices.

The collaboration began at SONG BRIDGE 2025, a songwriting camp held in Kyoto in May 2025 under the MUSIC WAY PROJECT. The initiative, organized by CEIPA and TOYOTA GROUP, supports international collaboration and the global development of Japanese music.

The release describes “With you” as the first international collaboration to emerge from the camp.

Its music video premiered on October 10. Shot in Singapore in May with a local production team, the video adds another Southeast Asian connection to the project.

A 14-song introduction to Rol3ert

“Meet me in my head” brings together 14 songs written and sung in Japanese and English, combining earlier releases with new material.

The tracklist includes “meaning,” “savior,” “Boy,” “Kodoku” and “HOPE,” alongside “With you.” The album will be available digitally and on CD, marking Rol3ert’s first CD release.

For listeners discovering Rol3ert through the Johnson collaboration, the record offers a fuller introduction to his blend of English-language songwriting and J-pop-influenced melodies.

Jakarta showcase and Manila plans

Rol3ert’s Southeast Asia promotional trip runs from October 28 to November 1.

His “meet me in my head” Showcase & Fan Meet takes place at Houma Jakarta on October 28. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. WIB, with the program running from 7 to 8:30 p.m. WIB.

The Jakarta event includes album performances, conversation and a fan meet afterward. Entry is free and dinner is included, but seats are limited and RSVP is required. The announcement also lists merchandise prizes.

In Manila, the release confirms a live appearance on October 31 but does not provide a venue, performance time or admission arrangements. Fans should follow Rol3ert’s official channels for those details.

Taking the album to audiences abroad

Born in the United States in 2005 and raised in Japan, Rol3ert debuted in 2025.

The release lists his selection for Spotify Japan’s RADAR: Early Noise 2026 and his Rising Radio Artist of the Year Award at MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 among this year’s milestones.

After the Southeast Asia trip, he will perform album tour shows at Osaka’s BIG CAT on November 6 and Tokyo’s Spotify O-EAST on November 12.

“With you” connects his album rollout with collaborators and audiences across the region. For Philippine fans, the next moment to watch is the announcement of his October 31 Manila appearance.
