Robinsons Hotels and Resorts Awards 2025 celebrate Filipino hospitality excellence
Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) reaffirmed its leadership in Philippine hospitality after bagging three major honors at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025 held in Hong Kong.

RHR took home the prestigious title of Philippines’ Leading Hotel Group, alongside two property-specific wins: Philippines’ Leading City Hotel for Grand Summit Hotel General Santos and Philippines’ Leading Family Resort for Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu.
Often regarded as the “Oscars of the travel industry,” the WTA celebrates excellence in global tourism and hospitality. For RHR, these awards highlight its scale, quality, and commitment to authentic Filipino service.
Barun Jolly, Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager of RHR, said the awards reflect the company’s vision. “We are incredibly proud of this achievement. It affirms our mission to be the definitive leader in quality and authentic Filipino hospitality,” he said.
Grand Summit General Santos continues to raise the bar in Mindanao as a top-tier corporate and lifestyle destination. It offers world-class facilities and highly personalized service, making it the preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu remains a favorite among families and travelers seeking refined luxury, rich cuisine, and stunning views. The resort’s location places guests within reach of Cebu’s cultural and natural treasures.
RHR now operates 31 properties in 20 cities and municipalities, the largest hotel network in the Philippines. Its portfolio ranges from the ultra-luxury Nustar and Fili Hotel brands to the mid-range Summit Hotels and value-driven Go Hotels.
Fili Hotel, the first Filipino 5-star brand, is also set to open in Metro Manila at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate. With this expansion, RHR continues to redefine Philippine hospitality for every kind of traveler.
