RCBC and AirAsia rewards have partnered to launch the AirAsia Platinum Credit Card, offering Filipino travelers enhanced benefits for both local and international journeys.

The AirAsia Platinum Credit Card rewards everyday spending with AirAsia points, credited automatically to the cardholder’s AirAsia account. Points can be redeemed for flights, hotel stays, and lifestyle rewards. Cardholders earn 1 AirAsia point for every P28 spent locally, 1 point for every P22 spent overseas, and 2 points for every P25 spent on AirAsia or the AirAsia MOVE app.

New cardholders receive 15,000 welcome AirAsia points plus a monthly bonus of 500 points with regular use. The card also offers a preferential foreign exchange conversion fee of 1.85% for international purchases.

AirAsia Platinum membership status is granted for the first year, with benefits like priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling. Cardholders enjoy complimentary PAGSS International Lounge access at NAIA Terminal 1, travel insurance coverage up to P5 million, and 24/7 Visa concierge services.

The Platinum variant builds on the 2018 Classic card launch, which now also features enhanced perks, including a 2.50% FX conversion fee and a 300-point monthly bonus. Applications for both card types can be made through the RCBC Credit Cards website.
