R&B producer and singer-songwriter CVIRO & GXNXVS have released their second single “Close 2 U” featuring breakout UK R&B artist Nippa on Red Bull Records.
A merging of two very distinct worlds, this track combines the best of the UK R&B scene with what CVIRO and GXNXVS do best. “Close 2 U” is perfectly timeless, weaving 90s/early 2000s R&B in with smooth beats and infectious melodies.
On the single, CVIRO & GXNXVS shared, “This song is about connection in its purest form. An AUS x UK R&B collab has been a long time coming, and “Close 2 U” is one of those moments where everything just clicked. Having Nippa be part of it brought it into a new dimension“.
CVIRO & GXNXVS made their return as a duo earlier this year with the single “Were You Down?” – a bumping track with a club-ready energy. In between this new era and their previous project together the two kept busy, appearing on global releases with UK-based R&B singer H33RA and Toronto rapper JAHKOY – with this second collaboration receiving an enthusiastic shoutout on The Joe Budden Podcast.
