RADWIMPS Anew album release marks 20th anniversary celebration
Japanese rock band RADWIMPS returns with their first studio album in four years, Anew. The album includes 12 tracks that highlight the band’s evolution and creativity as they celebrate 20 years in music.

Fans can now stream Anew and watch the new music video for “World End Girl Friend.” Directed by Takeshi Maruyama, the video was filmed in Thailand and tells a delicate story of young love abroad, perfectly paired with the song’s emotional rhythm.
Anew features 10 new songs and two previously released singles: “Tamamono,” the NHK drama Anpan theme, and “Meidai,” the theme for NTV’s news zero. The physical version adds “Tamamono (Orchestra Version),” while the digital edition includes “DAI-DAN-EN feat. ZORN (Anew Version).”
To mark their 20th anniversary, RADWIMPS also launched the Anew 20th Anniversary Special Box. It includes exclusive content from their June 29 studio session, behind-the-scenes interviews, their first arena show at Yokohama Arena in 2007, and four songs from their FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25 set. The box also features a collectible anniversary pouch with three limited-edition items, now available for international preorder at the Official RADWIMPS Overseas Store.
RADWIMPS will embark on the 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR this year. The nine-city, 17-show arena tour will include special guests BUMP OF CHICKEN, Vaundy, and YOASOBI for their Yokohama dates. Fans can expect a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience honoring two decades of RADWIMPS’ influence on Japanese rock.
