Qualibet Testing Services Corporation, a local company headed by Chemist Pinky Pe Tobiano, recently achieved a monumental feat when they entered into an acquisition agreement with Bureau Veritas Asure Quality (BVAQ), a recognized world leader in the field of quality testing and certification.
This achievement is a first not only for the country but for a Filipina chemist, Pinky Pe Tobiano, to be recognized internationally. Prior to the acquisition, Ms. Tobiano was heading Qualibet in chemical and microbiology testing of food, water, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics among others. Her exemplary leadership has not gone unnoticed by the French-owned company which has eventually led to the acquisition.
With the backing of BVAQ, Qualibet’s expertise and proven track record will be bolstered further as they intensify their manpower, geographical reach and infrastructure.
