61st ANVIL Awards Philippines celebrates legacy, learning, and excellence in communication
The ANVIL Awards continues to define excellence in Philippine public relations. For more than sixty years, it has honored campaigns that influence change, build trust, and move people to action.

Now on its 61st year, the ANVIL Awards remains the highest recognition for communication excellence in the country. It honors innovation and purpose in PR while staying true to its roots—celebrating campaigns that shape perception and drive social impact.
Building Better Storytellers
To prepare professionals for this year’s competition, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) held the second “How to Package a Winning ANVIL Entry” workshop on October 2, 2025. Over 90 practitioners from brands, government offices, and agencies joined the session.
Ana Ruby Pista, APR, Chair of the 61st ANVIL Awards, led the session with insights on crafting effective entries. She emphasized that a winning submission must have clear goals, strategic execution, measurable outcomes, and emotional storytelling.
“Numbers alone don’t win an ANVIL,” Pista said. “The story behind the campaign should inspire. It must connect with people and spark positive change.”
Carrying a Legacy Forward
Throughout its history, the ANVIL has honored campaigns that shaped public consciousness. Past Grand ANVIL winners include:
• The Manila Times (1963) for “Operation Quick Count,” which promoted election transparency.
• San Miguel Corporation (1971) for its anti-pollution system campaign.
• Meralco Foundation Center (1983) for the “Work Attitude Program,” which uplifted Filipino professionalism.
• Del Monte Philippines (1989) for “Save the Philippine Eagle,” which fueled environmental awareness.
These campaigns reflect the enduring role of PR in nation-building. They prove that authentic storytelling and strategic communication can drive social progress.
Call for Entries Now Open
