Pickleball is gaining ground in the Philippines as the Philippine Pickleball Federation (PPF) staged the first-ever Philippine Pickleball National Championship 2025 with Skechers Philippines as a key partner. The historic tournament took place from May 30 to June 1 at Dink and Shot in Marikina.
Skechers athletes like SJ Lim and Leander Lazaro competed in high-performance Skechers Pickleball shoes designed for agility, stability, and comfort. The championship included Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles divisions across age groups 19 to 55 and above, showcasing talent from seasoned athletes to rising stars.
Gold medalists in each division received Skechers Pickleball shoes as prizes, with winners also earning eligibility for the official Philippine national pool. The awarding ceremony marked the strong partnership between PPF and Skechers in uplifting the sport.
Skechers Philippines Country Manager Suzette Pasustento shared the brand’s commitment to supporting the growing pickleball community. “We’re ready to support athletes and individuals who aspire to join the Pickleball community,” she said.
