OPM Legends Abu Dhabi Concert Unites Three Filipino Rock Icons
Abu Dhabi prepares for a rare celebration of Filipino music heritage. Three of the most influential names in Pinoy rock, Ely Buendia, Chito Miranda, and Arnel Pineda, will perform together in one historic show. The OPM Legends Abu Dhabi Concert will happen at Etihad Arena on January 10, 2025. The event brings decades of anthems, stories, and performances that shaped how Filipinos listen to music.

The show gives fans a chance to hear signature hits from three different eras of OPM. Each artist comes from a strong legacy. Each one shaped a generation of listeners.
Ely Buendia, former frontman of Eraserheads, leads the lineup. His songwriting shaped Pinoy alternative rock. His album Method Adaptor won Album of the Year at the New Hue Video Music Awards and Favorite Album of the Year at the 38th Awit Awards. He also joined the San Diego Comic-Con panel for Eraserheads: Combo On The Run, the first Filipino film to be featured at the event.
Chito Miranda brings Parokya Ni Edgar’s humor and storytelling to the stage. Songs like Harana, Your Song, Pangarap Lang Kita, Halaga, and Inuvman Na gained lasting appeal. Their music shaped how young listeners saw love, friendship, and real life. The band’s style mixed rock and comedy with honest Pinoy experiences.
Arnel Pineda adds global energy to the concert. His rise from local bars to becoming the vocalist of Journey inspired many Filipinos. His first tour with the band earned more than 35 million dollars in sales. His performances at the Super Bowl XLIII pregame show and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame proved his range. His voice brought Journey to a new generation of fans.
The event aims to celebrate Filipino talent on an international stage. Live Nation, DVent Productions, and Tiana Entertainment organized the show. Concert veterans Rhiza Pascua and Bojie Yangco developed the concept with producer Diane Ventura. Their goal is simple, bring world-class Filipino artists to a global audience.
Tickets are now available through Live Nation Middle East or Ticketmaster.
