One Ayala Makes More Room for Wonder with the Little Stacks

From stories and play to new discoveries, One Ayala kicks off the 100-day countdown to Christmas with more reasons for communities to come together. 

Christmas is officially getting closer, and at One Ayala, the season is creating more opportunities for people to come together, discover new interests, and make the most of the spaces around them. 

As Makati continues to evolve as a place to work, live, and connect, One Ayala is evolving with it. Beyond being a destination to shop or pass through, One Ayala is becoming a third space for the city–one where people can pause from the workday rush, pursue their interests, spend time with others, and feel a stronger sense of community. 

This vision is now extending to the community’s youngest members through The Little Stacks, a day-long experience that brought together stories, creativity, learning, and play in partnership with Caritas Manila.

Little Stacks for Little Minds 

Earlier this year, One Ayala introduced The Stacks as a space designed to give office workers, commuters, students, and residents a place to slow down, pick up a book, get some work done, or simply take a break from the pace of the city. 

This season, that same spirit takes a smaller shape. It has made its way closer to children, letting them experience the warmth and generosity that make the holidays worth slowing down for. Children have a unique way of finding wonder in the simplest experiences, and their minds continue to thrive in spaces where curiosity and imagination are fostered.

Children from Caritas Manila 

On September 16, The Little Stacks welcomed children from Caritas Manila for an experience that invited them to explore One Ayala with activities built around big ideas for their bright, curious minds. The initiative is part of Our Common Place, Ayala Malls Makati’s continuing effort to create spaces that respond to the communities they serve and give people more meaningful ways to experience the mall beyond shopping. 

It is a small way of giving back, but one that speaks to a bigger belief: that when we create places where children feel welcome and encouraged to dream, we create spaces that can shape the community for years to come. 

Learning Beyond the Pages 

The day began at The Stacks, where the children took part in storytelling, nursery songs, and interactive games that encouraged them to read, listen, imagine, and participate.

The experience then moved beyond the pages. Through the newly opened Executive Optical Kids & Up, the children received complimentary eye check-ups and an educational eye-care session, introducing them to the importance of caring for their vision. They also explored their creativity through hands-on activities at The Hobby Hub.

With these activities, The Little Stacks showed how One Ayala’s different spaces can come together to create opportunities for learning, discovery, and connection. 

“Giving the children of Caritas Manila a day at One Ayala reminds us of our mall’s greater purpose: transforming spaces into places of meaning and shared experiences,” said One Ayala’s Senior Marketing Associate Manager Olivia Dayao. 

For Dayao, experiences like The Little Stacks give spaces across the mall a deeper intention. “We hope to serve our purpose as the mall that connects everyone in Makati by creating experiences that bring communities together,” she added. 

100 Days to Christmas, and More to Discover 

The Little Stacks is just one of the ways One Ayala is bringing its third-space vision this holiday season, with more community experiences set to unfold in the coming months. 

From chorale performances and storytelling sessions to holiday markets and hobby gatherings, One Ayala continues to create spaces where people can come together, discover something new, and celebrate the season in their own way. 

At One Ayala, being a third space means having a place to connect, grow, discover, and belong. And with 100 days to Christmas, there is already more to look forward to–and more spaces to make your own.
