MSI has announced Philippine availability of the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition, with suggested retail pricing starting at ₱138,995.

The laptop combines a Stellar White finish with design elements inspired by LOONG:NIA, MSI’s dragon-themed original character also known as MLG.

Beyond its appearance, the model targets gaming and demanding creative work with configurations offering up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory.

Performance hardware and cooling

According to MSI, its OverBoost technology supports up to 190W of combined CPU and GPU power under demanding workloads.

The cooling system uses two fans, five heat pipes and four exhaust vents, intended to manage heat during intensive use. MSI’s official launch materials confirm the combined-power specification and cooling arrangement.

These specifications describe the system’s design; they are not a substitute for measured game performance or independent thermal testing.

A 16-inch display for games and creative work

The release lists a 16-inch QHD+ display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 typical color coverage.

The laptop also supports two DDR5 memory slots with capacity up to 96GB, alongside PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 storage options.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support.

Its exterior adds a white keyboard, four-zone RGB lighting, MLG graphics and red rubber feet to distinguish it from the standard design.

Accessories and local package details

MSI says the premium pack includes an MLG Edition mouse, headset and extended gaming mouse pad.

A character figure and special color box are part of a limited-quantity launch bundle in selected markets. The company explicitly notes that the figure is not included with every configuration.

Philippine shoppers should confirm the exact processor, graphics, installed memory, storage and accessories attached to the advertised starting price. Maximum supported specifications should not be assumed to be the configuration supplied at ₱138,995.

Local availability and package details can be checked through MSI’s authorized Philippine retailers.
