Mövenpick Celebrates a Decade of Global Giving Through Kilo of Kindness
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts celebrates ten years of kindness with the 2025 Kilo of Kindness campaign, a global movement that began with one small idea—every kilo can make a difference. From 13 October to 14 November 2025, more than 70 Mövenpick properties across 30 countries will collect donations to support local communities.

The initiative began in 2015, built on the belief that kindness creates impact. Since then, Kilo of Kindness has gathered over 100,000 kilos of food, clothes, and school supplies, helping countless families worldwide. What started as a hotel campaign has grown into a global effort that reflects the heart of Mövenpick’s brand—care, connection, and community.
Guests, employees, and locals are all invited to participate by bringing non-perishable food, clothing, books, toys, and other essentials to participating hotel lobbies. Each donation will be delivered to a local charity partner to ensure direct community benefit.
“Ten years of Kilo of Kindness is a celebration of shared purpose,” said Benoît Racle, Global Brand President, Premium, Accor. “At Mövenpick, kindness is who we are every day. This milestone celebrates communities uplifted and lives touched.”
This year’s campaign coincides with World Kindness Week, strengthening Mövenpick’s mission to make hospitality meaningful. To mark the anniversary, Mövenpick is highlighting ten stories from around the world—real examples of how donations have improved lives, from feeding families to supporting children’s education.
Kilo of Kindness remains an open invitation for everyone to take part in generosity. By engaging guests, employees, and local communities, Mövenpick shows that kindness continues to ripple far beyond hotel walls.
