More Filipinos are choosing accessible, affordable insurance as  Singlife Philippines grows new business and customer base in  the previous year

Singlife Philippines closed 2025 by strengthening its position as a  trusted digital life insurer, as more Filipinos showed growing interest in insurance that is  accessible, affordable, and easy to understand.

Last year, Singlife Philippines grew its total new business by 23% and expanded its  customer base by 23%, keeping its momentum as one of the country’s fastest-growing  digital-first insurance brands.

Growth was fueled by stronger adoption through the Singlife app, with policies purchased  on the platform rising nearly 3x vs. the previous year. The surge signals increasing interest  among Filipinos for insurance that is easier to access, more affordable, and simpler to  manage, especially through mobile-first experiences.

“Filipinos want insurance that feels simple, affordable, and dependable. The growth we’ve  seen this year reflects that,” says Lester Cruz, CEO of Singlife Philippines. “Insurance is  ultimately a trust business, and we’re proud that more customers are choosing Singlife as  a brand they can rely on for protection that’s designed around real needs.”

Singlife also introduced new in-app products designed around Filipino needs, including  Protect From Funeral Cost, which provides cash support to help families manage funeral  expenses; Singlife NextGen, a whole life plan designed to help families build long-term  protection across generations.

Strategic partnerships also helped drive Singlife’s momentum last year. By working with  top platforms like GCash, Maya, and AUB’s HelloMoney, and introducing a payment  gateway via Xendit, Singlife made insurance more accessible across everyday digital  channels.

Singlife’s achievements were further reinforced by recognition from major regional and  global award-giving bodies, strengthening its reputation as one of the Philippines’ leading  digital-first insurance brands. Over the past year, Singlife Philippines earned eleven awards  across customer experience, mobile excellence, management and digital life insurance  innovation.

Notable wins included recognitions at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards for Customer  Experience Solution, Mobile App, and New Fintech Product in the Philippines. Singlife also  earned awards from the Global Business & Finance Magazine Awards 2025, including Best  InsurTech Philippines, Best Customer Experience Solution Philippines, and Best Digital  Life Insurance Philippines.

As Singlife Philippines moves into 2026, the company is focused on reaching more  consumers through geographic expansion and new products designed for Filipino needs,  from everyday protection to longer-term financial goals.

Singlife will also expand its efforts to promote healthier and more protected lifestyles  through its sponsorship of the Philippine Marathon Majors, a nationwide race series that  brings world-class marathon experiences to key cities while encouraging Filipinos to invest  in both wellness and financial security.

Singlife remains focused on scaling protection for more Filipinos by continuing to make insurance frictionless, easier to access, easier to afford, and easier to trust.
