Marriott International Recognized with 56 Michelin Keys Across Asia Pacific Excluding China

44 hotels earn distinction at the 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards for excellence in hospitality and design

Marriott International is delighted to announce that 44 of its hotels across Asia Pacific excluding China received a total of 56 MICHELIN Keys at the 2026 global MICHELIN Key Awards. The recognition reflects Marriott International’s strategic focus on delivering distinctive hospitality experiences rooted in local culture, innovative design, and genuine service excellence.

Revealed on September 18, 2026, the MICHELIN Key Awards program now spans North America, Europe, Asia, and nearly 100 additional markets. 44 Marriott properties across the region earned recognition, with the majority receiving One MICHELIN Key distinction. The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko, Bvlgari Resort Bali, Iniala Beach House, a Member of Design Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko obtained prestigious Two Key standing, while four exceptional properties achieved the pinnacle Three MICHELIN Key rating: Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, a Luxury Collection Hotel and Spa, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Each honored property exemplifies the brand’s philosophy of creating spaces where thoughtful design meets authentic guest connection.

The MICHELIN Key Awards evaluate hotels using rigorous criteria similar to those applied in the prestigious MICHELIN culinary guide, assessing factors including architectural vision, service consistency, unique guest offerings, and the ability to create lasting impressions. Recognition reflects properties that demonstrate mastery across these dimensions.
