Swing for Wishes charity golf tournament to grant 525 wishes for children with critical illnesses
Make-A-Wish Philippines is calling on golfers to take part in a meaningful game. The nonprofit will hold its first-ever Swing for Wishes charity golf tournament on October 24, 2025, at the Club Intramuros Golf Course in Manila.

The event marks the foundation’s 25th anniversary and aims to grant 525 life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Since 2000, Make-A-Wish Philippines has brought joy to over 5,500 children through its programs.
Organized with COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, the tournament will feature a full morning of play followed by an awarding and celebration at midday. Golfers can join for ₱5,000 each or ₱17,000 for a team of four. Non-golfers can take part in the evening celebration for ₱1,250.
Those who wish to go beyond the game can register as playing donors for ₱15,000. Each donor will directly support a child’s wish journey, offering a chance to see the impact of their generosity. The foundation also welcomes sponsors in cash or kind.
“We call on everyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of children with critical illnesses to join Swing for Wishes,” said Aleah Ortiz, Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Philippines. “With your support, we can uplift these brave kids and their families by making their wishes come true.”
