Netflix is set to release Typhoon Family on October 11, a moving coming-of-age story led by Korean star Lee Jun-ho.

Set against the backdrop of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, the series follows Tae-poong, a carefree son who suddenly inherits his father’s small business at the height of economic collapse. As he struggles to keep the company afloat, Tae-poong transforms from a reckless young man into a rookie boss, navigating the realities of adulthood while holding on to family ties.
The project highlights Lee Jun-ho in a pivotal role that blends humor, drama and heart. Known for his versatility and acclaimed performances in both music and acting, Jun-ho brings depth to a character facing one of the toughest turning points in modern Korean history.
