Grammy-winning artist Laufey has officially released her new album ‘A Matter of Time’ under Vingolf Recordings / AWAL. The record features 14 tracks, including the focus single “Mr. Eclectic,” which features backing vocals from Clairo.
The album marks Laufey’s most personal work yet, showing a vulnerable and unguarded side of the Icelandic-Chinese artist. Each track reflects raw emotions and stories, challenging her past image of polished elegance and embracing a more human narrative.
To mark the release, August 24 will host the third annual “A Very Laufey Day.” The global fan activation spans over 75 cities including Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Taipei. Activities include Laufey-inspired thrift fashion racks, exclusive “A Matcha of Time” café drinks, special frozen yogurt flavors, and curated book club picks.
The celebration will conclude with a performance streamed live from Los Angeles via TikTok LIVE, giving fans worldwide a chance to experience the album launch together.
