Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum equips mid-sized firms with AI-driven detection and response
Kaspersky has expanded its flagship business security line with the launch of Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum, designed to give small and medium-sized businesses stronger defenses against advanced cyber threats. Alongside it, the company introduced Kaspersky Next MXDR Optimum, a managed solution that provides round-the-clock protection.
Both solutions aim to address the challenges faced by mid-sized organizations that often work with limited IT budgets and staff while confronting increasingly complex and costly cyberattacks.
Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum offers:
- Robust endpoint protection with ML-powered anti-malware and anti-ransomware tools.
- Extended detection and response to trace threats across endpoints and systems with automation and guided actions.
- Cloud-based investigation using Cloud Sandbox for quick reputation checks and advanced analysis.
- System hardening and patch management to reduce vulnerabilities and secure IT environments.
- Shadow IT control to identify, block, and manage unauthorized cloud services and protect sensitive data.
- Training tools to help staff build cybersecurity awareness.
The solution is available for cloud and on-premise deployment and can be seamlessly upgraded from Kaspersky Next EDR Optimum without losing data.
For companies that prefer managed services, Kaspersky Next MXDR Optimum extends these protections with 24/7 monitoring, AI-powered detection, and expert-led response. Internal IT teams can handle initial analysis, while Kaspersky specialists provide advanced threat detection and remediation.
Ilya Markelov, Head of the Unified Platform Product Line at Kaspersky, said the new products are built to integrate smoothly into existing infrastructures, requiring minimal resources while greatly strengthening defenses.
These additions complement Kaspersky Next XDR Expert, the top-tier enterprise solution in the Kaspersky Next product line.
