The International Pastors Association for Peace (IPAP) has formalized an interchurch partnership and launched a Bible Exchange Program during an interdenominational forum in Pasig City, creating opportunities for participating Christian communities to learn about one another’s teachings.

According to organizers, the gathering brought 353 bishops, pastors, church and ministry leaders, and congregants to the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Auditorium. Discussions centered on spiritual readiness and Christ’s coming.

Partnership supports dialogue across churches

The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jesus Thy Kingdom Come International Church, and Shincheonji Church of Jesus, also known as New Heaven New Earth, entered into a memorandum of understanding, with IPAP acting as mediator and convener.

The agreement aims to encourage mutual understanding, friendship and practical cooperation while respecting each participating church’s doctrines and religious identity.

Its Bible Exchange Program will give pastors, church leaders, Bible teachers and willing congregation members opportunities to hear teachings directly from the participating churches’ authorized representatives.

Planned activities include Bible learning sessions, interchurch discussions, question-and-answer forums and fellowship gatherings.

“Through this partnership and the Bible Exchange Program, we hope to strengthen mutual understanding among Christian churches through respectful dialogue and direct learning, showing that differences in belief need not hinder peace and cooperation,” said Harold Recio, an IPAP representative.

Forum examines spiritual readiness

The forum carried the title “Are You Ready for the Bridegroom? What Every Believer Must Prepare Before Jesus Comes.”

Its central discussion drew from Matthew 25:1–13, the Parable of the Ten Virgins, prompting participants to reflect on preparedness and how they practice their faith.

Speakers included Sherwin Villarica of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Sherwin Serrano of Jesus Thy Kingdom Come International Church, and Anna Factor of New Heaven New Earth. Each shared perspectives on the gathering’s theme.

Guests included Nicolas Racuma Amatorio, founder and director general of the Values Formation and Spiritual Transformation Council of the Philippines International Incorporated, and Leonilo Aguja, executive vice president of the National Auxiliary Chaplaincy Philippines.

Delegates from Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cameroon also attended, according to organizers.

IPAP’s announced schedule includes Bible forums in Rosario, Batangas, on October 19; Bacoor, Cavite, on November 24; and Davao City on November 28, 2026. Its calendar also listed a Baguio City forum for October 16.

The organization says these gatherings aim to support biblical learning and strengthen relationships among Christian communities.

Established on August 3, 2024, IPAP is a Philippines-based interdenominational initiative that organizes Bible forums, leadership seminars, theological education and interchurch activities.
