Inspired by Travel, Driven by Purpose: Hotel Casiana Redefines Tagaytay Hospitality

Hotel Casiana in Tagaytay is proving that hospitality is more than luxury, it is about connection and trust. General Manager Clive Aranha shares how he and his team create memorable guest experiences while embracing digital innovation.

Located along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu highway, the ten-story Scandinavian-inspired hotel offers a heated pool, wellness center, children’s carousel, and versatile function rooms. Families, business travelers, and eventgoers find comfort in its balance of elegance and warmth.

Aranha believes true hospitality lies in details like a smile, seamless bookings, and events that run without fault. His leadership focuses on growing with his team, not above them. “It’s not about I, it’s about we. Success is when your team feels like they’re part of something greater,” he said.

Behind the scenes, Hotel Casiana turned to PLDT Enterprise for stronger digital infrastructure. With PLDT iGate and trunkline services, operations became smoother. Staff now coordinate efficiently, while guests enjoy reliable Wi-Fi and fast online booking.

The partnership boosted online reservations, now accounting for 12% of yearly bookings. With a new Hotel Casiana set to open in Mexico, Pampanga in 2026, Aranha looks forward to expanding this partnership.

“Technology does not replace hospitality,” Aranha said. “But when used right, it empowers us to take care of people better.”
