inDrive smoke free rides effort expands support for healthier mobility
inDrive pushes a cleaner commute as it joins the Department of Health’s smoke and vape free rides campaign. The company aligns with DOH, DOTr, LTFRB, and other TNVS groups to support healthier transport habits. The move reflects a growing public demand for responsible mobility and safer shared spaces.

The company now shows an in-app reminder for drivers and passengers. The prompt urges users to keep every trip smoke and vape free. You see it before every ride. The feature encourages you to stay mindful of your health while traveling. It also reinforces inDrive’s wider push for safe and responsible commuting habits.
Sofia Guinto, inDrive Philippines Business Development Head, shared that protecting passengers and drivers guides the company’s actions. She stressed that health shapes the quality of every ride. She also noted that government and private sector teamwork supports better outcomes for commuters.
More efforts will follow. inDrive will roll out its Smoke Free Byahe Caravan across key cities. The caravan will give out decals, health kits, and educational materials. These items help drivers share the message with their passengers. The caravan also allows inDrive to meet its driver community in person and strengthen engagement.
The initiative is part of the brand’s #inDriveLigtasBiyahe program. It focuses on safe and health conscious travel. The company hopes these activities will push more people to follow smoke free habits during trips.
DOH Metro Manila Center for Health Development Regional Director Dr. Lester M. Tan welcomed the partnership. He said private sector help expands the reach of the campaign. He added that shared efforts inspire healthier choices on the road.
