GH Tower LEED Gold Certification Raises the Bar for Sustainable Offices in San Juan
Ortigas Land’s GH Tower is now officially San Juan’s first LEED Gold-certified office building, redefining sustainability and innovation for modern businesses.

The 15-storey building in Greenhills Center earned its LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The recognition affirms Ortigas Land’s vision for smarter, greener developments that meet global standards while supporting long-term business growth.
Ortigas Land President and CEO Jose Emmanuel “Junie” Jalandoni said the milestone reflects the company’s goal of creating spaces that drive both environmental and economic progress. “GH Tower raises the bar for responsible and high-impact urban development,” he said.
The building combines location, efficiency, and sustainability. With a 2,800-square-meter floor plate, it maximizes space and energy use. Its systems optimize power and water consumption through renewable energy contracts, rainwater harvesting, and greywater recycling.
Tenants and visitors benefit from modern mobility options. The tower offers bike lanes, shower rooms, landscaped pedestrian zones, and easy access to over 1,000 retail and dining spots within Greenhills Center. It also connects directly to GH Mall and 4,000 estate-wide parking slots, supporting commuters and cyclists alike.
Ortigas Land’s Head of the Office Business Unit, Javier D. Hernandez, said the project meets the needs of ESG-driven companies. “GH Tower aligns with the goals of today’s businesses that want efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability,” he said.
The tower surpassed its initial LEED Silver target through improved materials and systems. The certification was awarded on April 10, 2025, following an independent evaluation.
Key features include:
- Double Low-E glass curtain wall for insulation and natural light
- Renewable power sources to reduce emissions
- Efficient plumbing and rainwater systems
- Greywater reuse for building operations
- Bike- and commuter-friendly facilities
According to USGBC, LEED buildings consume up to 25% less energy and emit 34% less carbon. GH Tower now stands as a leading example of sustainable design and smart investment in Metro Manila.
