GDay Family Day Museo Pambata Brings Families Together
Globe turned its 917 GDay anniversary into a warm and simple celebration built around family time. The newly refreshed Museo Pambata set the scene. Millennial parents walked through halls they knew from school field trips. Their children saw the museum for the first time. The day mixed nostalgia and new memories.

Globe opened the museum for the first ever GDay Family Day. The event gave families direct access to play areas, movie rooms, and hands-on activities. Globe mobile and Globe At Home customers joined the event with their loved ones. They enjoyed a curated schedule that focused on connection and shared experiences.
Families watched a Disney Plus film marathon. They joined immersive activities that encouraged them to explore, learn, and talk with each other. Globe gave away rewards that added useful value. These included tickets to Philippine Biodome plus Ocean Park, Hotel H2O stays, Ayala Cinema vouchers, and Disney On Ice Magic in the Stars passes. Max’s Restaurant, Jamba Juice, and Krispy Kreme handed out treats that kept everyone energized.
Parents and children joined learning sessions led by Khan Academy Philippines. Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program and the Safe Spaces book also guided kids aged seven to fourteen. The topics covered digital safety, cybersecurity, data privacy, and internet ethics. These sessions supported Globe’s commitment to raise responsible online behavior among young users.
Globe also extended the experience to children from underserved communities through Project PEARLS. Kids joined guided museum tours, movie screenings, and interactive activities. Face painting and creative stations added color to the day. This outreach reinforced Globe’s goal to create inclusive programs that uplift communities.
The event closed with a simple message. Family grows stronger through shared moments. GDay Family Day highlighted connection, learning, and community support. It showed how everyday experiences gain meaning when generations share them.
