New collaboration allows Overseas Filipinos across Europe to send money directly to GCash wallets in the Philippines.

MANILA, Philippines — Overseas Filipinos in Europe now have a faster and more convenient way to support their families back home as GCash and TransferGo launch a partnership that enables direct remittances to GCash wallets in the Philippines.

The collaboration connects GCash, the country’s leading finance super app, with TransferGo, a major international money transfer platform operating across Europe and the United Kingdom. The partnership aims to simplify the remittance experience by providing secure, reliable, and cost-efficient transfers directly into the GCash ecosystem.

For many Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and migrants, sending money home can often involve long processing times, multiple service providers, and additional fees. Through the new integration, TransferGo users can transfer funds directly to GCash accounts, allowing recipients to immediately access and use their money.

Recipients can use transferred funds for everyday transactions including bills payments, online purchases, cash withdrawals, savings, and other financial services available through the GCash platform.

According to GCash International General Manager Arjun Varma, the partnership strengthens the company’s growing international remittance network while supporting financial inclusion for Filipinos worldwide.

“This partnership strengthens GCash’s international remittance network and ensures that Filipino families get their funds quickly, safely, and conveniently. We are committed to financial inclusion and empowering every Filipino to manage their money, whether they are here at home or abroad,” said Varma.

TransferGo also sees the partnership as an important step in expanding its services for the Filipino community across Europe.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing our customers with more opportunities to stay connected with family and friends. We do this by delivering more affordable, fast, and reliable money transfer solutions for the Filipino diaspora. We are proud to have the community’s trust and will continue to offer them our very best,” said TransferGo CEO and co-founder Daumantas Dvilinskas.

The partnership aligns with GCash’s broader vision of promoting financial inclusion and ensuring that Filipinos, regardless of location, have access to secure and accessible financial services.

As more Filipinos work and live abroad, digital remittance channels continue to play a critical role in helping families receive financial support quickly and efficiently. The partnership between GCash and TransferGo provides another option for Overseas Filipinos seeking convenient cross-border money transfer solutions.
