FedEx has expanded its International Connect Plus (FICP) service to cover the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA) region. This move helps Filipino businesses tap into more global markets with reliable, affordable, and day-definite e-commerce shipping.
FedEx Philippines Managing Director Maribeth Espinosa said the demand for fast and affordable shipping is growing as more local SMEs and online sellers reach buyers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In March 2025, Philippine exports to the UAE reached $34.3 million, up 2.51% year on year. At the same time, India sent $177 million worth of goods to the Philippines, marking a 9.39% increase.
FICP is ideal for cross-border e-commerce. It supports single-piece shipments under 10kg and offers full customs clearance and delivery tracking. The service also includes FedEx Delivery Manager® International for flexible delivery options and updates.
A key feature now added is Picture Proof of Delivery. This allows buyers to confirm package arrival with a visual photo for peace of mind.
