Foundever® in the Philippines, a top global CX industry mover, was recognized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for its contribution to youth employability, receiving a plaque of appreciation during the agency’s Stakeholder’s Recognition held at The Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon City.
The citation acknowledges the role of Foundever in the Philippines as a partner employer of the JobStart Philippines Program for 2025, a government-led initiative aimed at easing young Filipinos’ transition from school to work through career coaching, life-skills training, and industry immersion. The program is designed to strengthen collaboration between the government and the private sector toward addressing persistent skills-to-job mismatches in the labor market.
The recognition highlights the support of Foundever in the Philippines for youth-bridging initiatives that help equip first-time jobseekers with practical workplace experience while responding to industry demand for job-ready talent.
Beyond Jobstart, Foundever in the Philippines continues to advocate for education and employability through complementary initiatives under its University and Community Partnership (UCP) programs, the Language Academy at Foundever, and its recent Certificate of Program Registration (CTPR) from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for the CX and Communications Training Level II. All together, these reinforce the company’s sustained commitment to inclusive workforce development.
“This recognition affirms the value of partnerships where government and industry work side by side to address employability challenges,” said Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing and Talent Acquisition for the Philippines, Malaysia, and China. “Programs like JobStart create a more structured pathway for young people to gain real-world experience, while allowing companies to develop talent in a way that is both sustainable and inclusive.”
Lim noted that the participation of Foundever in the Philippies in JobStart reflects a longer-term investment in human capital development. “Youth employability is more than a social responsibility issue; it’s an economic imperative,” he said. “When young professionals enter the workforce prepared and supported, it strengthens productivity, reduces early attrition, and contributes to a healthier labor ecosystem.”
The DSWD Stakeholder’s Recognition event gathered representatives from partner employers, training institutions, and development organizations that have supported the implementation of JobStart and related youth programs nationwide.
Foundever in the Philippines has a significant operational footprint in the country and continues to position itself as an employer-partner in workforce development initiatives that align business growth with social impact. As labor market conditions evolve and competition for skilled talent intensifies, company-government partnerships such as JobStart are increasingly seen as critical tools for improving workforce readiness and long-term employability outcomes.
