This holiday season, Dorchester Collection presents a trio of festive experiences at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, The Beverly Hills Hotel, and Hotel Bel-Air. From alpine dining and ice skating in Paris to glamorous soirées and joyful traditions in Los Angeles, each destination offers elegant celebrations filled with culinary delights and seasonal sparkle.
HÔTEL PLAZA ATHÉNÉE REVEALS ITS WINTER CHALET WITH RACLETTE AND ICE SKATING
Hôtel Plaza Athénée will open its winter chalet in La Cour Jardin. The alpine themed chalet is available from November 27, 2025 to January 31, 2026 with dinner served each evening from 7:30pm.
In the spirit of the festive season, whether dining as a couple or with friends, guests all convene together around a large table to share in the gastronomic experience. The hotel will provide ice skates for those wishing to take a few turns before dinner on the private ice rink under the stars.
Guests will begin with a glass of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2018 champagne followed by an Alpine-style dining experience featuring dishes such as chestnuts in a tangy sorrel sauce, scallops marinated with citrus and cauliflower cream, traditional raclette and charcuterie. To finish, the hotel’s pastry chefs Angelo Musa and Elisabeth Hot will present their version of a chocolate fondue.
French manufacturer Mauviel 1830 will continue its partnership with Hôtel Plaza Athénée to again create the tableware for the chalet. The raclette and fondue sets which have been handmade in Normandy will be used throughout the meal service. Mauviel’s signature pieces combining tradition and modern design will be displayed on the table and on the chalet walls.
The Chalet at Plaza Athénée is open from November 27, 2025 to January 31, 2026, Wednesday to Sunday. During school holidays (December 20, 2025 – January 5, 2026) it is open daily.
From EUR225 per person including a glass of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2018, a starter, raclette, charcuterie and dessert. Water and hot drinks are included – wine and champagne are available at an extra cost. Bookings include an hour’s access to the ice rink from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

Steeped in holiday splendour, this traditional holiday afternoon tea service features savoury finger sandwiches and seasonal handcrafted pastries. Fine tea selections and scones served with all the fixings on delicate china perfectly captures the spirit of the festive season. Offered Friday and Saturday from November 28 through January 2 and priced at USD150 per person.
In the days leading up to Christmas, the Polo Lounge will reinvent its signature dessert to reflect the festive flavours of the season. Included among the 12 seasonal preparations of this classic favourite are Hot Cocoa and Cream, Holiday Sugar Cookie, Red Velvet, Eggnog, and Gingerbread. Offered December 12 – 23 during dinner service only.
Little chefs are invited to decorate their own holiday cookie creations in an engaging hands-on class with one of the hotel’s pastry chefs. From sprinkles to frosting, junior bakers will create colourful confections packaged in a signature pink box to bring home just in time for Santa’s visit.
