Bread is a staple in Filipino households, and in Davao City, the Panadero Bakeshop has become a familiar name. Known for its classic offerings like pan de sal, ensaymada, monay, hopia, and the crowd favorite bicho-bicho, the brand has built a reputation for providing affordable comfort food that locals enjoy at any time of the day.
One of its franchise operators, Dafoodgallery Bakery Products Manufacturing, runs three branches: two in Davao City, including the busy Damosa branch, and one in Cagayan de Oro. According to Operations Head Jocelito Campos, bread plays an essential role in the community, catering to workers, families, and late-night customers alike. With freshly baked bread available as early as 4 AM and affordable options like the P5 cheese de sal at night, Panadero has become a part of daily life for many.
As the business grew, so did the need for reliable connectivity. Campos shared that owner Dennis Roy Aballe learned about Converge through recommendations and decided to switch to the broadband provider in February 2024. The move has since transformed the way the bakery operates across its branches.
“Now we have Converge in all three branches,” Campos explained. “We’re able to have weekly, monthly, and even our annual meetings through Zoom without interruption. This helps us plan and execute without the need for constant face-to-face meetings.”
With stable internet, communication with suppliers and coordination across branches have also become smoother. Campos emphasized that adapting to new technology is crucial for their continued growth, and Converge has become a reliable partner in this journey.
“As we grow, we need to adapt. Having a strong connection gives us an easy channel to execute our strategies,” he said.
From fresh bread to fresh solutions, Dafoodgallery and Converge show how technology and tradition can come together to serve communities better.
